Sherri Turpin, a bold, purpose-driven leader, is CEO of ZP Better Together (ZP), a leading provider of innovative communications solutions, including video relay technology and interpretation services, for deaf and hard of hearing individuals. Proficient in American Sign Language, Ms. Turpin is a member of Fortune’s CEO Initiative; a signatory to CEO Action, the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance workplace diversity and inclusion; and a 2022 Best CEO honoree of the Austin Business Journal. Under her leadership, ZP has been named a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion for four consecutive years (2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023), earning a score of 100% on the Disability Equality Index (DEI); has established innovative partnerships with leading brands, including Apple and Meta; and continues to boldly lead the “Stand With the Deaf Community” advocacy campaign, pushing policy leaders, the public, and the business community to step up and join ZP in the fight to ensure full and equal communications access for the deaf community. Ms. Turpin brings more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry, serving previously as an executive with EarthLink and Verizon company XO Communications, and as executive-in-residence for Kinderhook Industries, a leading private investment firm. She serves on several boards: the New York School for the Deaf, the National Technical Institute for the Deaf Foundation, and Avita Pharmacy.
